This is a banksia nut this is a rather strange looking nut and can be turned in to some eye catching projects.

This is a little pot I turned it's made of Pau Amarello which is a very rich yellow colour,

It has been polish with some lathe polish which i think look's very nice, the yellow should get richer and richer with age.

Here are some bowls i have turned, The bowl on the right is made of Zabrano and the one below that is maple.

Mulberry bowl very nice and 1 of a kind.
